DITC · IT FOR LAW FIRMS

Client files accessible to the right people.

Email, deadlines and confidential documents shape a firm’s daily work. We scope computers, accounts and support around those dependencies with your responsible staff.

01

Partner, employee and collaborator access

Define access approvers, review roles and MFA and document joiners, role changes and departures. The firm retains responsibility for its accounts and files.

02

Email and document sharing

Review agreed delegation and sharing links; identify communication with collaborators and third parties. Firm policies guide changes, without collecting client case files through contact forms.

03

Computers, practice software and continuity

Inventory essential tools, coordinate changes with legal-software providers and define priority data and authorized recovery checks.

04

A plan matching your working hours

Choose routine support, alert-review hours and escalation. DITC availability is every day, 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Quebec time; response targets and exceptions are contractual.

FOR OUR FIRST DISCUSSION

Useful context, without sensitive records.

  • Which users and collaborators need which files?
  • Who manages Microsoft 365, practice software and backups?
  • Which work needs to resume first after an interruption?

Do not send passwords or client records through the form.

Written commitments.

Andrei Suba is your contact. Support is available every day, 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Quebec time. Checks, licences, travel, response targets and responsibilities are agreed in the engagement.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Make an informed decision.

Can you work alongside our current provider?

Yes, a specific need can be scoped with your existing provider. Responsibilities, access and intervention boundaries must be documented.

Do you guarantee professional compliance?

No. Professional and confidentiality obligations are reviewed with the firm and its advisers. IT work provides controls and evidence within the agreed scope.

How do we start?

Describe your computers, tools and priority without sharing a legal file. An IT readiness or Microsoft 365 review can then define the engagement.

Privacy

Protection Ordinateur AS, operating as DITC, receives your name, email, company, service choice and message when you submit the form. We use this information to handle your request. The form uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent bots and abuse; Google may process technical data, including your IP address, browser and interactions, and use a security cookie. AWS hosts the website and processes form and email delivery; data may be processed outside Canada. The request assistant prepares the form in your browser. Your answers are not sent during this preparation. When you move to Contact, a temporary draft is kept in this tab. It expires after 30 minutes and is removed after the form is filled. Closing the tab clears this draft. You review the form before sending it. An essential six-month cookie remembers your optional-cookie choice. That choice does not disable form security. You can also contact us directly by telephone or email. For questions about your information, its retention, or an access or deletion request, contact andrei.suba@ditc.ca. AWS uses the IP address to restrict access to Canada and the United States, filter attacks and suggest French in Quebec. An essential six-month cookie remembers a language selected manually. These features do not track visitors for advertising. Google Analytics measures visits and sent requests only after you agree. It receives the canonical page address, title, referring domain and technical browsing data. Form answers, URL query parameters and fragments are excluded from the events we send. Advertising features are disabled. Google may process this data outside Canada. Analytics cookies last six months, renewed during a consented visit. You can reject or withdraw permission using “Cookie choices” in the footer.
